About the artist:

Diana Dyer is an artist from Mobile, Alabama who has exhibited her work in several states including Georgia, Rhode Island, Missouri, Alabama, and Indiana. She is drawn to the unity found between fabric, glass, and wood and how the relationships change between lustrous and matte materials. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2021 at the University of South Alabama and is currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts. In her free time she enjoys taking naps and going for a swim.

I grew up in Theodore, Alabama, I would like to say that most of my days were spent outside. This would be quite the lie however. As far as I could remember, my dad was always into technology; computers were a staple in our household. Long days that could be spent outside were spent indoors getting scolded by my mom for playing video games for hours on end. My brothers and I would peel apart envelopes at church to create more drawing room for our adventures on the internet. It was my love of video games that sparked the love of creating and making art today and it is what drove me to complete my bachelor's of fine arts at the University of South Alabama in 2021. —Diana Dyer

CURRENT:

As of right now, I am pursuing a Master’s degree—However I am still teaching at different locations. If you want take a class you can head over to either of these locations or inquire for more information. I don’t teach full time at any one location so keep your eyes peeled. I also sell at some of these locations too. I also have an Esty shop but at this point it’s within certain seasons. School keeps me busy for the most part—can’t do everything.
