I took a workshop back in 2018. To be honest I think the workshop was a little beyond my scope skill-wise. However there was an emphasis on Venetian technique; more specifically cane technique. Cane is essentially colored glass rods that aren’t much thicker than a #2 pencil. After seeing the person I worked with make a cane goblet I wanted to create one myself. At the time of the class I didn’t really have the skill to make one. But in 2019 I finally was able to see this dream to completion by making one myself.
